He received his artistic training at the Escuela de Bellas Artes de Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the Escuela Superior de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, Madrid, where he resided and pursued his professional career from 1979 onwards, but without losing the close ties that bind him to his native land.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 1974 his work has been exhibited in more than 70 solo exhibitions in museums, galleries and other cultural venues. In 2005 he was named Adoptive Son of Plasencia, tourist ambassador of the city and town crier of its June Fair and Festivities in 2007; he was also awarded the prize for dissemination by the Association of Municipalities of Trasierra-Tierras de Granadilla in 2009 for his exhibition “When Granadilla”; in 2010 he was named Favourite Son of the town of Alag\u00f3n del R\u00edo, a town founded by the ancient inhabitants of Granadilla.<\/span><\/p>\n

Today part of his work remains in art galleries such as the Fujit Museum in Tokyo, the Fine Arts Museums of Albacete, Santander and Badajoz, and the Postal and Telegraph Museum in Madrid. In addition, in the cultural collections of the Provincial Councils of La Coru\u00f1a, Albacete and Badajoz; the Town Councils of Plasencia, M\u00f3stoles, Legan\u00e9s, Puertollano and La Coru\u00f1a; The savings banks of Extremadura, Zamora, Salamanca, Municipal de Pamplona, Albacete, Toledo, Caja Postal de Ahorros, Rural del Jal\u00f3n-Zaragoza, Valencia, Badajoz and Duero; MAPFRE Badajoz, Real Casa de la Moneda y Timbre, Asamblea de Extremadura and other public and private collections in Spain, France, Germany, USA, Mexico, Colombia, Colombia, Spain and the United States. Graduated from University Complutense de Madrid in Design. Presently living in Madrid, although his work often takes him out of the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

He started in the streets with graffiti, later he followed on with watercolours, acrylic and water-based techniques in his studio. He worked until he has succeeded in uniting the two such contrary techniques in a unique style, full of life and colour, that goes from the most hot red to the most electric turquoise. Taking the delicate style of the watercolour to the street, to the new support of the external wall that has so little to do with the paper upon which he makes his most delicate works.<\/span><\/p>\n

His technique is based upon improvisation, where the aggressive quality of spray and the delicacy of watercolour mix in every type of support. He develops his activity with his own brand, Lo-Fi Studios, always between two worlds: the audiovisual and the recording, achieving a duality and an eclectic style in which he drinks from many sources and requires him to be constantly renewing himself. He writes music for advertising campaigns collaborating with brands such as Renault, M\u00e1sM\u00f3vil, Ikea, CocaCola, Correos, Smart, Fanta or Campofr\u00edo and series such as El Vecino or Brigada Costa del Sol. He also works with artists such as Rosal\u00eda, Fangoria, Marta S\u00e1nchez, Miki N\u00fa\u00f1ez, Ricky Merino, Agoney, Marlango, Pol 3.14 or Marta Sango. <\/span><\/p>\n
